कामं राघव ते वाणी प्रमाणं धैर्यमाकृतिः।सूचयन्ति परं तेजो भस्मच्छन्नमिवानलम्4.11.81।।
kāmaṃ rāghava te vāṇī pramāṇaṃ dhairyam ākṛtiḥ |
sūcayanti paraṃ tejo bhasmacchannam ivānalam || 4.11.81 ||
ഹേ രാഘവ, നിന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ, നിന്റെ ധൈര്യം, നിന്റെ നിലപാട്, നിന്റെ രൂപം തന്നെയും പരമതേജസ്സിനെ സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നു—ചാരത്തിനടിയിൽ മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന അഗ്നിപോലെ.
'Rama ! your word and your courage indicate your supreme strength which is like fire covered with ashes.'
True strength is disciplined and modest; dharmic power does not need display, and is recognized by steady conduct and truthful speech.
Sugriva, though still uncertain about battle proof, acknowledges signs of Rama’s greatness—comparing it to concealed fire.
