सुग्रीवस्य वैरानुकथनम्

Sugriva’s Account of Enmity and Appeal to Rama

एवमुक्त्वा तु मां तत्र वस्त्रेणैकेन वानरः।निर्वासयामास तदा वाली विगतसाध्वसः।।

evam uktvā tu māṃ tatra vastreṇaikena vānaraḥ | nirvāsayāmāsa tadā vālī vigatasādhvasaḥ ||

അങ്ങനെ എന്നോട് അവിടെ പറഞ്ഞശേഷം, വാനരനായ വാലി—ഭയമോ മടിയോ ഇല്ലാതെ—ഒരേയൊരു വസ്ത്രം മാത്രമണിഞ്ഞിരുന്ന എന്നെ അവിടെ നിന്ന് നാടുകടത്തി.
