हिमान्ते पश्य सौमित्रे वृक्षाणां पुष्पसम्भवम्।पुष्पमासे हि तरवस्सङ्घर्षादिव पुष्पिताः।।।।

Transliteration

himānte paśya saumitre vṛkṣāṇāṃ puṣpasambhavam |

puṣpamāse hi taravaḥ saṅgharṣād iva puṣpitāḥ ||

Translation

ഹേ സൗമിത്രേ, ഹിമാന്തത്തിന്റെ അവസാനം നോക്കുക—വൃക്ഷങ്ങളിൽ പുഷ്പസംബവം എത്ര സമൃദ്ധമാണ്; പുഷ്പമാസത്തിൽ വൃക്ഷങ്ങൾ പരസ്പരം മത്സരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ പുഷ്പിതങ്ങളായി നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു.
