तीर-वर्णनम् / Rama’s Lament at Pampa and the Approach to Rishyamuka
तं मत्तमातङ्गविलासगामी गच्छन्तमव्यग्रमना महात्मा।स लक्ष्मणो राघवमप्रमत्तो ररक्ष धर्मेण बलेन चैव।।।।
taṃ mattamātaṅgavilāsagāmī gacchantaṃ avyagramanā mahātmā | sa lakṣmaṇo rāghavam apramatto rarakṣa dharmeṇa balena caiva ||
മത്തഗജത്തിന്റെ മഹിമയുള്ള ലയത്തിൽ നീങ്ങുന്ന, മനസ്സിൽ അചഞ്ചലനായ മഹാത്മാവ് ശ്രീരാമൻ മുന്നേറുമ്പോൾ, ജാഗ്രതയുള്ള സൗമിത്രി ലക്ഷ്മണൻ ധർമ്മത്താലും ബലത്താലും രാഘവനെ കാത്തു.
