सुवर्णकोणाभिहतः प्राणदद्यामदुन्दुभिः।दध्मुश्शङ्खांश्च शतशो नादांश्चोच्चावचस्वरान्।।।।

suvarṇa-koṇābhihataḥ prāṇadad yāma-dundubhiḥ |

dadhmuḥ śaṅkhāṃś ca śataśo nādāṃś coccāvaca-svarān ||

സ്വർണമുനയുള്ള ദണ്ഡങ്ങളാൽ അടിക്കപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ പ്രാണദായകമായ രാത്രികാവൽ ദുന്ദുഭികൾ മുഴങ്ങി; കൂടാതെ നൂറുകണക്കിന് ശംഖങ്ങൾ ഊതപ്പെട്ടു, ഉയർന്നും താഴ്ന്നും മാറുന്ന പലവിധ നാദങ്ങൾ പടർന്നു.
