tataś cīrottarāsaṅgaḥ sandhyām anvāsya paścimām |

jalam evādade bhojyaṃ lakṣmaṇenāhṛtaṃ svayam || 2.50.48 ||

Translation

പിന്നീട് ചീരം (വൽക്കലം) മേൽവസ്ത്രമായി ധരിച്ചു അദ്ദേഹം പാശ്ചാത്യ സന്ധ്യാവന്ദനം അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചു; ആഹാരമായി ലക്ഷ്മണൻ തന്നെ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന വെള്ളം മാത്രം സ്വീകരിച്ചു.
