The Queens Behold Rama’s Śrāddha Offering
तं भूमौ पितुरार्तेन न्यस्तं रामेण वीक्ष्य सा।उवाच देवी कौसल्या सर्वा दशरथस्त्रियः।।2.103.9।।
taṁ bhūmau pitur ārtena nyastaṁ rāmeṇa vīkṣya sā |
uvāca devī kausalyā sarvā daśarathastriyaḥ ||2.103.9||
ഭൂമിയിൽ പിതാവിനായി ദുഃഖാകുലനായ രാമൻ വെച്ചിരുന്ന ആ അർപ്പണം കണ്ട ദേവി കൗസല്യ ദശരഥന്റെ എല്ലാ പത്നിമാരെയും അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്ത് പറഞ്ഞു.
Seeing the pinda (edible offering made to the departed soul) placed on the ground for his father by the distressed Rama, queen Kausalya, addressing all the wives of Dasaratha, said:
