पम्पा-ऋष्यमूक-मार्गोपदेशः
Guidance to Pampa and Rishyamuka; counsel to befriend Sugriva
कबन्धस्त्वनुशास्यैवं तावुभौ रामलक्ष्मणौ।स्रग्वी भास्करवर्णाभः खे व्यरोचत वीर्यवान्।।3.73.42।।
kabandhas tv anuśāsyaivaṃ tāv ubhau rāmalakṣmaṇau |
sragvī bhāskaravarṇābhaḥ khē vyarocata vīryavān ||3.73.42||
ഇങ്ങനെ രാമലക്ഷ്മണന്മാരെ ഉപദേശിച്ച ശേഷം, വീര്യവാൻ കബന്ധൻ—മാലാധാരി, സൂര്യവർണ്ണപ്രഭയിൽ ദീപ്തൻ—ആകാശത്തിൽ തിളങ്ങി നിന്നു.
Having instructed both Rama and Lakshmana, courageous Kabandha, wearing a flower-garland, shone brightly like the Sun in the sky.
Dharma is shown in the fruit of righteous action: Kabandha, aided by Rama’s deed, attains release and a purified form. Right conduct leads to restoration and uplift.
After advising the brothers, Kabandha appears transfigured and radiant, indicating his liberation and the completion of that episode.
Rama’s compassion and dutiful responsiveness, which become the occasion for Kabandha’s deliverance.
