दनु-शापकथा तथा सीताहरण-प्रश्नः
Danu’s Curse Narrative and Rama’s Inquiry about Sita
दीर्घमायुर्मया प्राप्तं किं मे शक्रः करिष्यति।।3.71.9।।इत्येवं बुद्धिमास्थाय रणे शक्रमधर्षयम्।
dīrgham āyur mayā prāptaṃ kiṃ me śakraḥ kariṣyati | ity evaṃ buddhim āsthāya raṇe śakram adharṣayam ||
‘എനിക്ക് ദീർഘായുസ്സ് ലഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു—ശക്രനായ ഇന്ദ്രൻ എനിക്ക് എന്ത് ചെയ്യുമെന്നു?’ എന്ന് വിചാരിച്ച്, ആ ധിക്കാരബുദ്ധി സ്വീകരിച്ച് ഞാൻ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ഇന്ദ്രനെ ആക്രമിച്ചു.
