दनु-शापकथा तथा सीताहरण-प्रश्नः
Danu’s Curse Narrative and Rama’s Inquiry about Sita
यदा छित्त्वा भुजौ रामस्त्वां दहेद्विजने वने।।3.71.6।।तदा त्वं प्राप्स्यसे रूपं स्वमेव विपुलं शुभम्।
yadā chittvā bhujau rāmas tvāṃ dahed vijane vane | tadā tvaṃ prāpsyase rūpaṃ svam eva vipulaṃ śubham ||
‘നിർജന വനത്തിൽ ശ്രീരാമൻ നിന്റെ ഇരുകൈകളും വെട്ടി നിന്നെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുമ്പോൾ, അപ്പോൾ നീ നിന്റെതായ വിശാലവും ശുഭവുമായ യഥാർത്ഥ രൂപം വീണ്ടും പ്രാപിക്കും.’
