दनु-शापकथा तथा सीताहरण-प्रश्नः
Danu’s Curse Narrative and Rama’s Inquiry about Sita
स मया याच्यमानस्सन्नानयद्यमसादनम्।।3.71.11।।पितामहवचस्सत्यं तदस्त्विति ममाब्रवीत्।
sa mayā yācyamānaḥ sannānayad yamasādanam || 3.71.11 ||
pitāmahavacaḥ satyaṃ tad astv iti mamābravīt |
ഞാൻ അപേക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടും അവൻ എന്നെ യമസദനത്തിലേക്ക് അയച്ചില്ല; പകരം അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു: “പിതാമഹൻ (ബ്രഹ്മാവ്) പറഞ്ഞ വചനം സത്യമായിരിക്കട്ടെ; അങ്ങനെ തന്നെയാകട്ടെ.”
Entreated, he did not send me to the abode of Yama ( lord of death) and said, 'Let the words of the creator be true' .
FAQs
