Ayomukhi Encounter and the ظهور of Kabandha
lakṣmaṇenaivam uktas tu rāmaḥ saumitrim abravīt |
mā sma trāsaṃ kṛthā vīra na hi tvādṛg viṣīdati ||
O valiant Lakshmana, a hero like you should not get desparate. said Rama to Saumitri when he was thus entreated by Lakshmana.
Inner steadiness as dharma: fear must not overrule duty; the righteous mind remains firm even when circumstances threaten life.
After Lakṣmaṇa’s anxious appeal, Rāma steadies him with words of resolve just as the danger around them escalates.
Rāma’s leadership and composure—he strengthens others through calm, dharmic counsel.
