हृता सा राक्षसेन्द्रेण रावणेन विहायसा।मायामास्थाय विपुलां वातदुर्दिनसङ्कुलाम्।।।।

hṛtā sā rākṣasendreṇa rāvaṇena vihāyasā |

māyām āsthāya vipulāṃ vātadurdinasaṅkulām ||

Translation

രാക്ഷസേന്ദ്രനായ രാവണൻ ആകാശമാർഗ്ഗത്തിലൂടെ അവളെ അപഹരിച്ചു; മഹത്തായ മായയെ ആശ്രയിച്ച് ഭീകര കാറ്റും കൊടുങ്കാറ്റിന്റെ ഇരുട്ടും നിറഞ്ഞ ദുര്ദിനം സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു.
