लक्ष्मणोपदेशः
Lakshmana Consoles Rama on Fate, Fortitude, and Right Action
लोकस्वभाव एवैष ययातिर्नहुषात्मजः।गतश्शक्रेण सालोक्यमनयस्तं समस्पृशत्।।3.66.7।।
lokasvabhāva evaiṣa yayātir nahuṣātmajaḥ |
gataḥ śakreṇa sālokyam anayās taṁ samaspṛśat || 3.66.7 ||
ഇത് ലോകസ്വഭാവം തന്നെയാകുന്നു; നഹുഷപുത്രനായ യയാതി ശക്രനോടു സമലോക്യം പ്രാപിച്ചിട്ടും, ശാപം മൂലം ദുര്ഭാഗ്യം അവനെ സ്പർശിച്ചു.
O best of men ! if you grieve and burn the world with your brilliance, wherefrom will the (ordinary) afflicted people get relief?
