Rāma’s Lament in Separation from Sītā
निर्वीर्य इति लोको मां निर्दयश्चेति वक्ष्यति।।3.62.12।।कातरत्वं प्रकाशं हि सीतापनयनेन मे।
nirvīrya iti loko māṃ nirdayaś ceti vakṣyati | kātaratvaṃ prakāśaṃ hi sītāpanayanena me || 3.62.12 ||
ലോകം എന്നെക്കുറിച്ച് ‘ഇവൻ വീര്യമില്ലാത്തവൻ’ എന്നും ‘ഇവൻ നിർദയൻ’ എന്നും പറയും; കാരണം സീതയുടെ അപഹരണത്താൽ എന്റെ ഭീരുത്വം വെളിച്ചത്തിൽ തെളിഞ്ഞു നിൽക്കും.
After completing the period of my exile when Janaka , king of Mithila, enquires of her welfare how can I face him?
