सीतान्वेषणविलापः
Rama’s Lament and Search for Sita
हृता मृता वा नष्टा वा भक्षिता वा भविष्यति।निलीनाप्यथवा भीरुरथवा वनमाश्रिता।।3.60.8।।
hṛtā mṛtā vā naṣṭā vā bhakṣitā vā bhaviṣyati |
nilīnā api athavā bhīrur athavā vanam āśritā || 3.60.8 ||
‘ആ ഭീരുവിനെ ആരോ അപഹരിച്ചിരിക്കാം; അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അവൾ മരിച്ചിരിക്കാം, നശിച്ചിരിക്കാം, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ആരെങ്കിലും തിന്നുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കാം; അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഭയന്ന് എവിടെയോ ഒളിച്ചിരിക്കാം, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ വനത്തിൽ അഭയം തേടിയിരിക്കാം।’
