नैवमर्हथ मां वक्तुमाज्ञाप्योऽहं तपस्विनाम्।केवलेनात्मकार्येण प्रवेष्टव्यं मया वनं।।।।

naivam arhatha māṃ vaktum ājñāpyo'haṃ tapasvinām | kevalenātmakāryeṇa praveṣṭavyaṃ mayā vanaṃ ||

നിങ്ങൾ എന്നോട് ഇങ്ങനെ പറയുന്നത് യുക്തമല്ല; ഞാൻ തപസ്വികളുടെ ആജ്ഞയ്ക്ക് വിധേയനായവൻ. കൂടാതെ, ഞാൻ വെറും സ്വകാര്യകാര്യത്തിനായി മാത്രം ഈ വനത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.
