जटायुरावणयुद्धम्
Jatayu’s Combat with Ravana
स परिष्वज्य च वैदेहीं वामेनाङ्केन रावणः।।।।तलेनाभिजघानाशु जटायुं क्रोधमुर्छीतः।
sa pariṣvajya ca vaidehīṁ vāmenāṅkena rāvaṇaḥ | talenābhijaghānāśu jaṭāyuṁ krodha-mūrchitaḥ ||
ക്രോധത്തിൽ ഉന്മത്തനായ രാവണൻ വൈദേഹിയെ ഇടങ്കൈകൊണ്ട് മടിയിൽ ചേർത്തുപിടിച്ച്, കൈത്തളിരാൽ ജടായുവിനെ ഉടൻ അടിച്ചു വീഴ്ത്തി.
Losing his senses, with rage, Ravana held Vaidehi (Sita) with his left arm and hit Jatayu with his palm.
