सीतया लक्ष्मणप्रेषणम् — Sita urges Lakshmana to seek Rama
The crisis of the ‘distressed voice’
लक्ष्मणेनैवमुक्ता सा रुदन्ती जनकात्मजा।प्रत्युवाच ततो वाक्यं तीव्रं बाष्पपरिप्लुता।।3.45.36।।
lakṣmaṇenaivam uktā sā rudantī janakātmajā | pratyuvāca tato vākyaṃ tīvraṃ bāṣpa-pariplutā ||3.45.36||
ലക്ഷ്മണൻ ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ജനകാത്മജയായ സീത കരയാൻ തുടങ്ങി; കണ്ണുകൾ കണ്ണീരാൽ നിറഞ്ഞ്, പിന്നെ അവൾ കടുത്തതും തീവ്രവുമായ വാക്കുകൾ മറുപടിയായി പറഞ്ഞു.
