न हि रामं पराक्रम्य जीवन्प्रतिनिवर्तते।वर्तते प्रतिरूपोऽसौ यमदण्डहतस्य ते।।3.42.3।।

na hi rāmaṁ parākramya jīvan pratininivartate | vartate pratirūpo 'sau yamadaṇḍahatasya te || 3.42.3 ||

രാമനെ വെല്ലുവിളിച്ച് അവന്റെ നേരെ പരാക്രമം കാണിക്കുന്നവൻ ജീവനോടെ മടങ്ങിവരുകയില്ല. യമദണ്ഡം കൊണ്ടു ഇതിനകം തന്നെ പ്രഹരിക്കപ്പെട്ട നിനക്കു, രാമൻ യമൻ തന്നെയായി മറ്റൊരു രൂപത്തിൽ നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു.
