The Slaying (Burial) of Viradha
ततस्तु तौ काञ्चनचित्रकार्मुकौ निहत्य रक्षः परिगृह्य मैथिलीम्।विजह्रतु स्तौ मुदितौ महावने दिवि स्थितौ चन्द्रदिवाकराविव।।।।
tatas tu tau kāñcana-citra-kārmukau nihatya rakṣaḥ parigṛhya maithilīm | vijahratuḥ stau muditau mahā-vane divi sthitau candra-divākarāv iva ||
പിന്നീട് സ്വർണചിത്രാലങ്കാരമുള്ള ധനുസ്സുകൾ ധരിച്ച ആ ഇരുവരും രാക്ഷസനെ വധിച്ച് മൈഥിലിയെ കൂടെ ചേർത്തുകൊണ്ട്; ആനന്ദത്തോടെ മഹാവനത്തിൽ വിഹരിച്ചു—ആകാശത്തിലെ ചന്ദ്രനും സൂര്യനും പോലെ.
