The Slaying (Burial) of Viradha
मामृका भक्षयिष्यन्ति शार्दूलाद्वीपिनस्तथा।मां हरोत्सृज काकुत्स्थौ नमस्ते राक्षसोत्तम।।।।
mām ṛkā bhakṣayiṣyanti śārdūlā dvīpinas tathā | māṃ hara utsṛja kākutsthau namas te rākṣasottama ||
“ഇവിടെ കാട്ടുകരടികളും, അതുപോലെ പുലികളും പുള്ളിപ്പുലികളും എന്നെ തിന്നുകളയും. ഹേ കാകുത്സ്ഥവംശജരേ, എന്നെ ഇവിടെനിന്ന് കൊണ്ടുപോകുവിൻ; ഹേ രാക്ഷസോത്തമാ, നമസ്കാരം—എന്നാൽ ഈ രണ്ടുപേരെയും വിട്ടേക്കുക.”
The wild bears, tigers and panthers will eat me up here. O best among demons, pray take me and leave both the Kakutsthas.
