तच्छृत्वा राक्षसेन्द्रस्य वाक्यं वाक्यविशारदः।प्रत्युवाच महाप्राज्ञो मारीचो राक्षसेश्वरम्।।।।

Transliteration

tac chrutvā rākṣasendrasya vākyaṃ vākyaviśāradaḥ | pratyuvāca mahāprājño mārīco rākṣaseśvaram ||

Translation

രാക്ഷസേന്ദ്രന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ടപ്പോൾ, വാക്ചാതുര്യമുള്ള മഹാപ്രാജ്ഞനായ മാരീചൻ രാക്ഷസേശ്വരനായ രാവണനോട് മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു.
