Viradha’s Challenge and the Clash in Dandaka
इत्युक्त्वा लक्ष्मणश्श्रीमान्विराधे प्रहसन्निव।कोभवान्वनमभ्येत्य चरिष्यसि यथासुखम्।।3.3.1।।
ity uktvā lakṣmaṇaḥ śrīmān virādhe prahasann iva |
ko bhavān vanam abhyetya cariṣyasi yathāsukham || 3.3.1 ||
ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ട് ശ്രീമാൻ ലക്ഷ്മണൻ വിരാധനോട് അല്പം പുഞ്ചിരിയോടെ പറഞ്ഞു: “നീ ആരാണ്? വനത്തിലേക്ക് വന്ന് ഇവിടെ ഇഷ്ടംപോലെ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നത് എന്തിന്?”
