दूषणवधः
The Slaying of Dūṣaṇa and the Rout of Khara’s Host
स्थूलाक्षस्याक्षिणी तीक्ष्णैः पूरयामास सायकैः।दूषणस्यानुगान्पञ्चसहस्रान्कुपितः क्षणात्।।।।बाणौघैः पञ्चसाहस्रैरनयद्यमसादनम्।
sthūlākṣasyākṣiṇī tīkṣṇaiḥ pūrayāmāsa sāyakaiḥ |
dūṣaṇasyānugān pañca-sahasrān kupitaḥ kṣaṇāt ||
bāṇaughaiḥ pañca-sāhasrair anayat yama-sādanam ||
തീക്ഷ്ണശരങ്ങളാൽ അവൻ സ്ഥൂലാക്ഷന്റെ കണ്ണുകൾ തുളച്ചു; പിന്നെ ക്ഷണത്തിൽ ക്രോധം ജ്വലിച്ച് ദൂഷണന്റെ അഞ്ചായിരം അനുചരന്മാരെ അമ്പുകളുടെ പ്രളയത്തോടെ വീഴ്ത്തി യമസദനത്തിലേക്ക് അയച്ചു.
