खरसेनासङ्ग्रामः

The Battle with Khara’s Host at the Hermitage

विषेदुर्देवगन्धर्वास्सिद्धाश्च परमर्षयः।एकं सहस्रैर्भहुभिस्तदा दृष्ट्वा समावृतम्।।।।

viṣedur devagandharvāḥ siddhāś ca paramarṣayaḥ |

ekaṃ sahasrair bahubhis tadā dṛṣṭvā samāvṛtam ||

രാമൻ ഒറ്റയ്ക്കായി നിന്നിട്ടും അനേകം ആയിരങ്ങൾ ചുറ്റുമെല്ലാം വളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ദേവന്മാരും ഗന്ധർവന്മാരും സിദ്ധന്മാരും പരമർഷിമാരും ദുഃഖത്തിൽ മുങ്ങി.
