विंशः सर्गः (Sarga 20): शूर्पणखाप्रेरितराक्षसवधः

The Slaying of the Fourteen Demons Sent by Śūrpaṇakhā

गृहीत्वा धनुरायम्य लक्ष्यानुद्दिश्य राक्षसान्।मुमोच राघवो बाणान्वज्रानिव शतक्रतुः।।।।

gṛhītvā dhanur āyamya lakṣyān uddiśya rākṣasān | mumoca rāghavo bāṇān vajrān iva śatakratuḥ ||

ധനുസ്സ് കൈയിൽ എടുത്ത് കെട്ടുറപ്പിച്ച് വലിച്ച്, ലക്ഷ്യമായി രാക്ഷസന്മാരെ നോക്കി രാഘവൻ അമ്പുകൾ വിട്ടു—ശതക്രതു ഇന്ദ്രൻ വജ്രങ്ങൾ എറിയുന്നതുപോലെ।
