हेमन्तवर्णनम् तथा भरतधर्मनिष्ठा-चिन्तनम्
Winter Description and Reflection on Bharata’s Devotion
न पित्र्यमनुवर्तन्ते मातृकं द्विपदा इति।ख्यातो लोकप्रवादोऽयं भरतेनान्यथा कृतः।।।।
na pitryam anuvartante mātṛkaṃ dvipadā iti | khyāto lokapravādo ’yaṃ bharatenānyathā kṛtaḥ ||
‘മനുഷ്യർ പിതൃമാർഗ്ഗമല്ല, മാതൃമാർഗ്ഗമാണ് പിന്തുടരുന്നത്’ എന്ന ലോകപ്രസിദ്ധമായ ചൊല്ലിനെ ഭരതൻ മറിച്ചാക്കി; അവൻ പിതാവിന്റെ ധർമ്മമാർഗ്ഗം തന്നെയാണ് അനുസരിച്ചത്.
