At this time, Bharata, accompanied by his subjects, must be daily going to river Sarayu for ablution.
Dharma appears as disciplined daily conduct: Bharata maintains ritual and public responsibility with humility, showing that leadership must be grounded in purity, truth, and service.
Rama imagines Bharata’s daily routine in Ayodhya—going with the citizens to the Sarayu for ablutions—while Rama remains in exile.
Responsibility and devotion: Bharata continues rightful practices and public duties while remaining inwardly loyal to Rama.
