सहसा लक्ष्मणः श्रीमान् नदीं गोदावरीं तदा।स्नात्वा पद्मानि चादाय सफलः पुनरागतः।।।।

Transliteration

sahasā lakṣmaṇaḥ śrīmān nadīṃ godāvarīṃ tadā |

snātvā padmāni cādāya saphalaḥ punar āgataḥ || 3.15.24 ||

Translation

അപ്പോൾ ശ്രീമാൻ ലക്ഷ്മണൻ ഉടൻ ഗോദാവരി നദിയിലേക്കു പോയി; സ്നാനം ചെയ്ത് താമരപ്പൂക്കൾ ശേഖരിച്ച്, കാര്യം സാധിച്ചവനായി വീണ്ടും മടങ്ങിവന്നു.
