दशमः सर्गः — Rama’s Vow to Protect the Sages of Daṇḍaka

Dharma of Refuge

प्रसीदन्तु भवन्तो मे ह्रीरेषा हि ममातुला।यदीदृशैरहं विप्रैरुपस्थेयैरुपस्थितः।।।।

prasīdantu bhavanto me hrīr eṣā hi mamātulā |

yad īdṛśair ahaṃ viprair upastheyair upasthitaḥ ||

“എന്നോടു പ്രസന്നരാകണമേ; എന്റെ ഈ ലജ്ജ അളവറ്റതാണ്. ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള പൂജ്യ വിപ്ര-മുനിമാർ—ഞാൻ സമീപിച്ചു സേവിക്കേണ്ടവർ—ഇപ്പോൾ എന്നെയാണു സമീപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.”
