तस्मै यत्नेन दातव्यमतिक्रम्य च सन्निधिम् । योर्चितं प्रतिगृह्णीयाद्दद्यादर्चितमेव च
tasmai yatnena dātavyamatikramya ca sannidhim | yorcitaṃ pratigṛhṇīyāddadyādarcitameva ca
അതുകൊണ്ട് വെറും സമീപ്യം മാത്രം നോക്കാതെ, പരിശ്രമത്തോടെ അവനേയ്ക്ക് ദാനം നൽകണം. പൂജിച്ച് അർപ്പിച്ചതിനെ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നവൻ, താനും പൂജിതമായതേ ദാനമായി നൽകണം.
