ब्राह्मणान्पूजयेद्यत्नात्स तस्यास्तोषयेत्ततः । द्विजानां वपुरास्थाय नित्यं तिष्ठंति देवताः

brāhmaṇānpūjayedyatnātsa tasyāstoṣayettataḥ | dvijānāṃ vapurāsthāya nityaṃ tiṣṭhaṃti devatāḥ

ബ്രാഹ്മണരെ പരിശ്രമത്തോടെ പൂജിച്ച് ആദരിക്കണം; അതിനാൽ അവൾ (ദേവി) ക്ഷണത്തിൽ തന്നെ പ്രസന്നയാകും. കാരണം ദേവതകൾ നിത്യം ദ്വിജരുടെ രൂപം ധരിച്ചു നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു.
