The Duties and Conduct of the Graduate (Snātaka) and the Householder

भूतानांप्रियकारीस्यान्नपरद्रो हकर्मधीः । न वेददेवतानिंदां कुर्य्यात्तैश्च न संवसेत्

bhūtānāṃpriyakārīsyānnaparadro hakarmadhīḥ | na vedadevatāniṃdāṃ kuryyāttaiśca na saṃvaset

സകല ജീവികളുടെ ക്ഷേമത്തിനായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കണം; മറ്റുള്ളവരോടുള്ള ദ്രോഹകൃത്യങ്ങളിൽ മനസ്സിടരുത്. വേദങ്ങളെയും ദേവതകളെയും നിന്ദിക്കരുത്; നിന്ദിക്കുന്നവരോടു സഹവസിക്കയും അരുത്.
