निक्षिप्तो रौरवे घोरे यो ज्येष्ठो हि नराधिप । तेषां दूतवरः कश्चिदुवाच मधुरं वचः

nikṣipto raurave ghore yo jyeṣṭho hi narādhipa | teṣāṃ dūtavaraḥ kaściduvāca madhuraṃ vacaḥ

ഹേ നരാധിപാ! അവരിൽ മൂത്തവനെ ഭയങ്കരമായ രൗരവ നരകത്തിൽ നിക്ഷേപിച്ചു. പിന്നെ അവരിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ ശ്രേഷ്ഠ ദൂതൻ മധുരവചനം പറഞ്ഞു.
