दुःशीलौ व्यसनासक्तौ धर्मकर्माद्यदर्शकौ । न वाक्यं चागतौ मातुर्वृद्धानां वचनं तथा

duḥśīlau vyasanāsaktau dharmakarmādyadarśakau | na vākyaṃ cāgatau māturvṛddhānāṃ vacanaṃ tathā

അവർ ദുഷ്ശീലരും വ്യസനാസക്തരുമായി ധർമ്മവും സദാചാരവും കാണാത്തവരായിരുന്നു. അവർ മാതാവിന്റെ വാക്കും മൂപ്പന്മാരുടെ ഉപദേശവും അനുസരിച്ചില്ല.
