तत्र प्रहसिता देवी ईश्वरं प्रत्यभाषत । धूमावर्तशिखा जाता ततोऽद्यापि न तुष्यसि । दुराराध्योऽसि तेन त्वं नात्र कार्या विचारणा

tatra prahasitā devī īśvaraṃ pratyabhāṣata | dhūmāvartaśikhā jātā tato'dyāpi na tuṣyasi | durārādhyo'si tena tvaṃ nātra kāryā vicāraṇā

അവിടെ ദേവി പുഞ്ചിരിച്ച് ഈശ്വരനോടു പറഞ്ഞു—“അന്നേ പുകയുടെ ചുഴലിയെപ്പോലെ ജ്വാല ഉയർന്നു; ഇന്നും നിങ്ങൾ തൃപ്തനാകുന്നില്ല. അതുകൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങൾ ദുഷ്പ്രസന്നൻ; ഇതിൽ ഇനി വിചാരം വേണ്ട.”
