Concept: Meritorious practice can yield an exalted, non-returning divine state marked by akṣaya (imperishability) and godlike joy.

Application: Treat spiritual practice as investment in imperishable values—cultivate daily purity, restraint, and pilgrimage/vrata discipline with the aim of lasting inner freedom rather than temporary gains.

Primary Rasa: adbhuta

Secondary Rasa: shanta

R
Rudra (Śiva)

FAQs

It means the state or abode belonging to Śiva—often understood as Śiva’s realm or the liberated condition associated with Śiva.

It suggests irreversibility: once that Śaiva state is attained, one does not fall back into ordinary worldly existence.

It describes it as enduring delight—“rejoicing in imperishable time”—likened to Rudra’s own eternal condition.
