यः पठेत्तोटकं दिव्यं प्रयतः शुचिमानसः । बाणस्यैव यथारुद्रस्तस्यैव वरदो भवेत्

നിയമനിഷ്ഠയോടെ ശുദ്ധമനസ്സോടെ ഈ ദിവ്യ തോടകം പാരായണം ചെയ്യുന്നവനോട്, ബാണനോടെന്നപോലെ റുദ്രൻ പ്രസന്നനായി വരദാതാവാകും.
