The Origin and Worship of Bhauma

शुक्रश्शिवं समाभाष्य गतो दैत्यान्मुदान्वितः । एवं भौमस्समुत्पन्नो हरांशो भूसमुद्भवः

śukraśśivaṃ samābhāṣya gato daityānmudānvitaḥ | evaṃ bhaumassamutpanno harāṃśo bhūsamudbhavaḥ

ശിവനോട് സംസാരിച്ച് ശുക്രൻ സന്തോഷത്തോടെ ദൈത്യന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ പോയി. ഇങ്ങനെ ഭൗമൻ ജനിച്ചു—ഹരന്റെ (ശിവന്റെ) അംശമായി, ഭൂമിയിൽ നിന്നുയർന്നവൻ.
