अत्यपूर्वं कृतं कर्म ताभ्यामेव रणे भृशम् । लाघवं शरसंधान ग्रहमोक्षं सुदुर्लभम्

atyapūrvaṃ kṛtaṃ karma tābhyāmeva raṇe bhṛśam | lāghavaṃ śarasaṃdhāna grahamokṣaṃ sudurlabham

ആ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ആ രണ്ടുപേരും അത്യപൂർവമായ ഒരു വീരകൃത്യം ചെയ്തു. അവരുടെ ചാപല്യം, അമ്പുസന്ധാനത്തിലെ വേഗം, ആയുധം പിടിച്ചു വിടുന്ന നൈപുണ്യം—ഇവ കാണുക അത്യന്തം ദുർലഭം ആയിരുന്നു।
