FAQs

Bhāratī is a name of Sarasvatī, the deity of speech and wisdom; the verse presents her as the inner presence guiding speech and thought and as the principle through which dharma is articulated in śāstric literature.

It links dharma-teaching to both vāṇī (speech) and manas (mind), implying that right understanding and right expression are supported by the same sacred source, Bhāratī.

Since dharma is conveyed through purified mind and truthful speech, the verse implies a discipline of thought and language—cultivating clarity, restraint, and alignment with śāstric principles.
