जाह्नवीं यो गतः पुण्यां स गच्छेन्निर्जरालयम् । द्विजा ऊचुः । गंगायाः कीर्तनं व्यास श्रुतं त्वत्तो विनिर्मलम्

പുണ്യമായ ജാഹ്നവീ (ഗംഗ)യിലേക്കു പോയവൻ അമരന്മാരുടെ ധാമം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു. ദ്വിജന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞു—“ഹേ വ്യാസാ! ഗംഗയുടെ ഈ നിർമല കീർത്തനം ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് ശ്രവിച്ചു।”
