सदापि लाभविरहो न परस्वं गृहीतवान् । तस्य जिज्ञासयैवाहं गृहीत्वा वस्त्रयुग्मकम्

എപ്പോഴും ലാഭം ലഭിക്കാതിരുന്നിട്ടും അവൻ ഒരിക്കലും മറ്റുള്ളവരുടെ സ്വത്ത് എടുത്തില്ല. അവനെ പരീക്ഷിച്ച് അറിയാൻ ഞാൻ തന്നേ ഒരു ജോടി വസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ എടുത്തു.
