सर्वथा घातनीयस्ते भवता सुरसत्तम । शक्रस्यैवं वचः श्रुत्वा शरण्यः शंकरस्तदा

sarvathā ghātanīyaste bhavatā surasattama | śakrasyaivaṃ vacaḥ śrutvā śaraṇyaḥ śaṃkarastadā

ഹേ ദേവശ്രേഷ്ഠാ! അവൻ നിർബന്ധമായും നിങ്ങളുടെ കൈകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ വധിക്കപ്പെടണം. ശക്രന്റെ ഇത്തരമൊരു വാക്ക് കേട്ട്, എല്ലാവർക്കും ശരണം ശങ്കരൻ അപ്പോൾ (പ്രതികരിച്ചു/പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു).
