बुद्ध्वा तां दानवीं मायामाकारं गूहयंस्ततः । मेढ्रदंष्ट्रास्त्रमादाय दानवं तमसादयत्

buddhvā tāṃ dānavīṃ māyāmākāraṃ gūhayaṃstataḥ | meḍhradaṃṣṭrāstramādāya dānavaṃ tamasādayat

അവൾ ദാനവീ മായയെന്ന് തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞ് അദ്ദേഹം തന്റെ രൂപം മറച്ചു; പിന്നെ ‘മേഢ്രദംഷ്ട്രാസ്ത്രം’ എടുത്ത് ആ ദാനവനെ സംഹരിച്ചു.
