स्तोत्रेणानेन वरदं षण्मुखं मुख्यशः सुराः । देवा ऊचुः । नमः कुमाराय महाप्रभाय स्कंदाय चास्कंदितदानवाय

ഈ സ്തോത്രംകൊണ്ട് ദേവന്മാരിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠർ വരദായകനായ ഷൺമുഖനെ പ്രധാനമായി സ്തുതിച്ചു. ദേവന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞു—മഹാപ്രഭുവായ കുമാരനു നമസ്കാരം; ദാനവന്മാരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ ഒരിക്കലും പിന്മാറാത്ത സ്കന്ദനു നമസ്കാരം।
