FAQs

It links a Vaiṣṇava sacred object with a specific historical-geographical center—Kānyakubja (Kannauj)—showing how Purāṇic sanctity is mapped onto real places through installation (pratiṣṭhā) and pilgrimage memory.

By directing the carrying and installation of a Vaiṣṇava mūrti, it highlights devotional practice expressed through consecration, temple-centered worship, and reverence for Viṣṇu’s manifest form.

It suggests responsible stewardship of sacred objects: one should relocate and establish them properly for communal benefit, preserving sanctity through correct installation rather than treating them as ordinary possessions.
