Concept: When sacred order is established, all realms—seen and unseen—converge as witnesses; dharma is not private but cosmic.

Application: Let your best actions be ‘witness-worthy’: live so that even unseen observers (conscience, elders, the divine) would approve.

FAQs

Sāvitrī is presented as a देवी (goddess) and specifically as ब्रह्मणः प्रिया—Brahmā’s beloved consort—arriving at a great gathering that includes beings from the three worlds.

It signifies the totality of existence across the three worlds (heaven, earth, and the nether regions), including all beings that move (चर) and those that are stationary (अचर), emphasizing a universal assembly.

The verse highlights reverence for cosmic order and sacred occasions: even exalted beings and divine figures participate, implying that dharmic events and assemblies are worthy of collective attendance and respect.
