रणभूमिं समासाद्य दैत्याः सर्वे रुरुं विना । ततो बलं हतं दृष्ट्वा रुरुर्मायां तदाददे

രണഭൂമിയിൽ എത്തി റുരുവിനെ കൂടാതെ എല്ലാ ദൈത്യരും യുദ്ധം ചെയ്തു; പിന്നെ തന്റെ സൈന്യം നശിച്ചതുകണ്ട് റുരു അവിടെ തന്നെ മായാശക്തിയെ ആശ്രയിച്ചു।
